GetClipMachine vs quso.ai (formerly vidyo.ai): a social suite vs a flat-price clipper
quso.ai, the tool that used to be vidyo.ai, meters clipping in credits and adds scheduling and analytics. GetClipMachine is €20/month flat with no meter. Where each one fits.

If you are looking for vidyo.ai, it is now quso.ai. Their own site describes it as "quso.ai (formerly vidyo.ai)", the old domain redirects to the new one, and the pricing page tells returning customers their plan is unchanged.
quso.ai is an AI clipper with a social media tool built around it: a content calendar, scheduling to seven platforms, and analytics. GetClipMachine only clips. That difference matters more than the price.
On the numbers here. quso.ai's plans and limits were read from their public pricing and product pages on 4 October 2026, linked at the bottom. Their pages do not publish 4K export, credit rollover, what happens when credits run out, or social accounts and team seats per plan, so nothing is claimed about those. Paid credit allowances are shown as a pair ("100→200"), which we read as monthly and yearly billing. Check directly.
The pricing, as published
quso.ai states that "one credit ≈ one minute of processed video", and that clipping, captioning and editing all draw from the monthly credits.
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly | Credits/mo (monthly → yearly billing) | Storage |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 75 | 7-day retention |
| Lite | $29/mo | $19/mo ($228/yr) | 100 → 200 | 10GB |
| Essential | $39/mo | $26/mo ($312/yr) | 300 → 600 | 25GB |
| Growth | $49/mo | $33/mo ($396/yr) | 600 → 1,200 | 75GB |
Free is listed with 720p renders carrying a quso.ai watermark, uploads up to 5GB and publishing to TikTok. Paid plans are listed with 1080p, no watermark and uploads up to 15GB. Scheduling to seven platforms starts on Essential; brand kit, templates and analytics are on Growth. The clipping page says the tool "processes videos up to 75 minutes".
GetClipMachine has two paid plans:
| Plan | Price | Limits |
|---|---|---|
| Free | €0 | 3 videos/mo, watermark, 1080p, videos up to 45 minutes |
| Pro | €20/mo, or €16/mo billed yearly (€192/yr) | Unlimited videos, no watermark, 1080p, videos up to 180 minutes and 4GB |
| Max | €45/mo, or €36/mo billed yearly (€432/yr) | Everything in Pro, videos up to 6 hours, several brand profiles, up to 240 hours of video a month |
Pro is $20 in the Americas, with no credits and no clip quota. See pricing.
What the meter means for long videos
Credits map to minutes processed, so the question is how many minutes you feed in. On Lite at monthly billing, 100 credits is about 100 minutes: one long podcast episode and part of another. A weekly 60-minute show needs roughly 240 to 300 credits a month, which is Essential.
Length matters too: a 75-minute limit rules out longer stream VODs and podcasts. GetClipMachine Pro takes sources up to 180 minutes at the same price however many you clip. The general arithmetic is in what credits really cost.
What quso.ai does better
- Scheduling and publishing. A content planner and auto-publishing to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, X and Pinterest. We publish nowhere: you download the file and post it yourself.
- Analytics. Social media analytics are listed on Growth. We have none.
- Editing. A video editor, filler-word and silence removal, an AI B-roll library, brand templates with your fonts, colours and logo, and a choice of caption styles. We let you pick caption colours and size, but there is no font or animation choice and no editor.
- More import sources and formats. Their page lists Rumble, Loom, Zoom, LinkedIn, Google Drive and Dropbox among others, exports in 16:9, 9:16 and 1:1, and SRT downloads on paid plans. We render 9:16 only.
- A free tier measured in minutes. 75 credits a month can cover more short videos than our 3.
- Larger uploads and mobile. 15GB on paid plans against our 4GB, and their page says desktop and mobile on every plan. We have no mobile app.
What's different here
- No meter. No credits, minutes or clip counts on Pro, and regenerating or adjusting a clip costs nothing.
- Longer sources. 180 minutes on Pro and 45 on Free, against a stated
- 1080p on the free plan and 4K on Max. Their free renders are listed at 720p and paid at 1080p.
- Framing that follows the content. Face tracking, a stacked layout for two-person shots, and gameplay or screen recordings shown whole rather than cropped.
- A Framed layout with your logo, name, @handle and an editable headline above the uncropped video. It is one fixed design, not a template editor.
- A virality score with written reasoning on every clip, and word-by-word captions in 99 auto-detected languages.
Where we're the weaker pick
- You want clipping, scheduling and analytics in one subscription.
- You want to edit: add B-roll, apply brand templates, change caption fonts and animations.
- You need square or horizontal exports.
- You clip a few short videos a month. Lite on yearly billing is $19, and their free tier may cover you at no cost.
- You need team seats, a mobile app or an API. We have none of them.
Short version
quso.ai if you want one tool that clips, edits, schedules and reports, and your sources are under 75 minutes and fit inside a credit allowance.
GetClipMachine if your sources are long, you clip often, and you would rather pay a flat price for clipping alone and post the files yourself. For other metered tools, see vs Opus Clip, vs Vizard and vs Klap.
